Cypress, Texas. November 15th 2021- Damien Mockus, owner of Gym Cypress and founder of the former Fitness1on1 training studio announced today he is running for Texas new 38th US Congressional District.
“There are 2 types of Politicians in Washington DC today. Those that seem hell bent on destroying our country & our economy for their own sick wasteful spending and practice continuous overreach/abuse of power. Then there are Politicians that DO nothing and DO NOT fight hard enough for the people that voted for them.”
Damien Mockus is a compassionate Texan & has been helping people in their lives, their fitness, or rehabilitation goals since 1995. Damien has strong conservative values and has been a part of the Tomball, Spring/Klein, and CY-Fair community as a resident and a small business owner for over 2 decades.
Damien’s former training studio Fitness1on1 and now Gym Cypress had contributed a continuous amount of donations with gym memberships and training since 2009. These businesses have also been responsible for holding events which raised between $15-20 thousand dollars for the Houston 100 Club, MD Anderson Cancer Center, and The Wounded Warrior Foundation.
